Brett Blair is the founder and president of Best Life Global, LLC., a coaching and consulting company providing business growth, leadership and executive coaching, training and organizational consulting services. Brett is also founder of Sanford Rose Associates-Brighton, an executive search firm headquartered near Detroit, Michigan. Brett helps executives, business leaders, and teams to improve business performance while achieving balance and growth in their personal and professional lives. Prior to founding Best Life Global, Brett was employed with 3M Corporation and Alcoa in a variety of executive leadership positions. At Alcoa, Brett was the General Manager of a $200 million automotive electrical subsidiary, with facilities in the U.S., Germany, Ireland and Mexico. He was also the Global Director of Human Resources for a $2-billion division with over 30,000 employees in 11 countries. Brett’s international experience as a corporate executive, executive recruiter, executive coach and organizational consultant spans the automotive manufacturing, telecommunications, electrical, mining, and healthcare industries. Brett’s consulting expertise lies in executive coaching, human relations strategy, organizational development, leadership, culture and climate, motivation, team effectiveness, talent management, performance management, recruitment, selection, and retention.

 

Brett has published two books, From Autopilot to Authentic and Living at the Summit, and is currently writing two new books, Killing Sab and  Busy is Bad. He is a keynote speaker on a variety of subjects relative to organizational and executive performance, and is the founder of the Best Life Movement, a non-profit organization aimed at helping people live their unique best lives.

 

Brett is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the International Coach Federation, RTP Capital, and is President of the Rotary Club of Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

 

Brett is in the dissertation phase of a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, with emphasis in executive coaching, organizational consulting, and applied positive psychology. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Missouri and an MBA in Finance from Tennessee State University. He also studied Japanese language and international business at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan.
