Kathy is a collaborative leader with over 20 years experience in human resources and administrative operations. Kathy has the ability to guide organizations in both the development and then the execution of short and long-term HR and administrative strategies to promote organizational efficiencies. She has worked in international, national, private, public and nonprofit organizations, bringing her commitment to effective people management, problem solving, and administrative best practices, along with a strong business acumen, to meet the specific needs of the companies she supports.

Kathy held progressive positions within BP (Amoco) and led the quality improvement of a $27-million client team at AON/Hewitt. She ran a complex HR function as the Senior Director for a $200-million national restaurant chain completing its relocation to Chicago, and helped Tatum, LLC, a professional service consulting firm, build and manage a national recruiting function. Kathy led the HR, administrative, and business functions for a $6-million Chicago nonprofit as the Chief Operating Office during a period of significant growth and expansion, and directed the turnaround of an HR function as the VP of HR for a $300-million national financial services company. Kathy has worked with start-ups and mid-size companies to build their HR and administrative functions, holding the titles of Interim Chief Operating Officer and Interim VP of Human Resources.

Kathy has a BA from American University in Washington, DC and is a member of both the national and Chicago Society of Human Resources. She is a Taproot Foundation volunteer providing pro bono HR and operational consulting services to nonprofit organizations, and serves on the Board of Directors for Rogers Park Montessori School.
