With over 30 years of experience in private equity, operational management, and strategic growth, Rena’s addition strengthens Brentwood’s commitment to helping organizations fill critical resource gaps, optimize performance, and achieve growth.

Rena ClarkRena’s career includes extensive experience in private equity and executive leadership, having led due diligence, structured transactions, and executed strategic initiatives across diverse sectors, including Manufacturing, Transportation, and Specialty Chemicals. As Co-Founder of Laurel Oak Capital Partners, LLC, LOCP led the transformation of an underperforming and capital-constrained temperature-controlled transportation carve-out, turning the business into a profitable standalone entity. Her leadership in streamlining operations, rationalizing assets, and reinforcing key relationships was instrumental in the company’s turnaround.

Previously, Rena was a Partner at GenNx360 Capital Partners, LLC, where she led/co-led acquisitions totaling approximately $350 million in invested capital, contributing to over $1 billion in combined company revenues. Her responsibilities included leading due diligence, securing favorable acquisition terms, and developing post-acquisition 100-day plans that drove value creation and sustained business growth. Her career also includes roles as CEO of a specialty chemical manufacturing company and leading a turnaround of an industrial printing firm, both resulting in financial improvements.

Rena is also an active board member, serving on nonprofit and professional boards such as Proctor Academy, Lamar University Foundation, and Lasell University. She mentors young professionals and is involved in executive coaching as a Harvard Business School Career Coach and a volunteer mentor with the MIT Venture Mentoring Service.

Rena holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with honors from Lamar University.
